Liz Cheney teamed up with Vice President Kamala Harris Monday in a last-minute effort to appeal to moderate Republicans who the former congresswoman believes might be uneasy about voting for Donald Trump but are afraid to say so publicly. Harris and Cheney visited three counties: Chester County in Pennsylvania, Oakland County in Michigan and Waukesha County in Wisconsin. Each were won by Nikki Haley, the former South Carolina governor and U.S. ambassador to the United Nations who ran against Trump for the Republican nomination. During a townhall in Michigan, Cheney framed the November election as a choice between “right and wrong.”TRUMP CAMPAIGN SENDS LETTER TO CBS DEMANDING UNEDITED ‘60 MINUTES’ HARRIS TRANSCRIPT, TEASES POTENTIAL LAWSUIT”I certainly have many Republicans who will say to me, I can’t be public. But they’ll do the right thing,” Cheney said. The daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney then predicted that “millions” of moderate Republicans who are too afraid to go against Trump publicly will vote for Harris. “And I would just remind people, if you’re at all concerned, you can vote your conscience and not ever have to say a word to anybody. And there will be millions of Republicans who do that on November 5th, vote for Vice President Harris,” Cheney said, eliciting applause from the audience. Cheney was essentially exiled from the Republican Party for participating in a congressional investigation of Trump’s involvement in the Jan. 6, 2021, events at the U.S. Capitol. She lost her congressional seat in a primary battle two years ago.

San Franciscco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan revealed that star receiver Deebo Samuel Sr. is currently hospitalized with pneumonia and fluid in his lungs after trying to play against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday. There is currently no timetable for Samuel’s return, as the team focuses on a full recovery. Samuel was expected to play in the Super Bowl LVIII rematch against the Chiefs at Levi’s Stadium on Sunday, but he was spotted on the sidelines with an oxygen mask around his face as he dealt with an illness.CLICK HERE FOR MORE SPORTS COVERAGE ON FOXNEWS.COMHe was also spotted in some sort of pain during warmups, though he had his pads and jersey on when he was on the sidelines ready to go before the oxygen mask was worn. Then, after standing on the sideline, Samuel jogged back into the locker room and was ultimately out the rest of the game, wearing street clothes on the sideline with a towel wrapped around his neck. According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Samuel woke up on Sunday not feeling well, though he tried to push himself to play with his team.FANS REACT TO CHIEFS PLAYER THROWING PUNCH AND REMAINING IN GAME DESPITE 49ERS STAR BEING EJECTED FOR ITBut things quickly developed into Samuel needing to enter the hospital for treatment where, after a battery of tests, he was found to be dealing with pneumonia and those fluids in his lungs. This situation with Samuel adds to a plethora of injury woes for the 49ers’ offense this year, as Brandon Aiyuk, the receiver San Francisco finally extended after a long rift this offseason in the contract department, is out the rest of the season after suffering multiple torn right knee ligaments following a hit by the Chiefs. And while the Christian McCaffrey Achilles tendinitis saga continues for San Fran, tight end George Kittle is also considered day-to-day with a sprained foot. Considering the injury situation, the 49ers would love to get Samuel, a dynamic offensive weapon that can play both receiver and running back, healthy sooner rather than later. Samuel is in his sixth season with the 49ers, and though McCaffrey has usually gotten the spotlight since being traded by the Carolina Panthers out to the Bay Area, Samuel has been an indispensable piece for Shanahan’s offense given his ability to do just about anything he’s asked. Samuel has racked up 335 receiving yards and 51 rushing yards with two total touchdowns through his first six games this season. Two quick-thinking passengers on a Colorado transit bus stopped what could have turned into a tragic incident when the driver fell from their seat as the vehicle was moving, officials said. The driver of the Mountain Metropolitan Transit (MMT) bus in Colorado Springs experienced a medical emergency around 7:45 a.m. on Oct. 14, the agency told Fox News Digital. Before the driver fell from his seat, one passenger noticed his “predicament” and moved toward the front of the bus, officials said. Another rushed from the back of the bus and took control of the wheel before bringing it to a safe stop and contacting a dispatcher via the bus radio. AURARIA CAMPUS POLICE OFFICER SHOT IN DENVER, SUSPECT ARRESTED”Despite the efforts of emergency responders, the driver passed away,” the agency said. Only three passengers were on the bus at the time of the incident. Video footage from inside the bus shows the two passengers rushing to the front as the driver falls from his seat. One is seen holding what appears to be a coffee cup and is heard asking the unseen driver, “Are you all right?”The other is heard radioing a dispatcher to report the emergency while stopping the vehicle at a bus stop. TEXAS MAN ARRESTED FOR ALLEGEDLY STEALING NEIGHBORS’ DOGS, KILLING THEM”Dispatch, I am on No. 1 southbound,” the second passenger said. “Your bus driver is having a seizure. The other passenger left the scene before first responders arrived because he needed to get to work, she said. “We have publicly requested that these passengers contact us because we would like to provide them with passes as a token of our appreciation for their assistance that morning,” Sheridan said.She noted that the name of the driver cannot be released because of HIPAA regulations and that his family has requested privacy. All drivers on MMT buses work for Transdev, a contractor that provides operators for the transit agency.
