A five-year-old girl in Texas accidentally shot herself with a gun she found inside her home, according to officials.Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded overnight Saturday night to the 8400 block of Parasol Lane, near Fairbanks North Houston Road, and learned that the young girl may have unintentionally shot herself, according to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.The child was transported to a hospital in an ambulance and underwent surgery. She is expected to survive.MAN SUSPECTED OF KILLING HIS WIFE LATER FOUND HANGING FROM A TREE IN TEXASThe girl’s stepfather, 33-year-old Jason Nguyen, was arrested on charges of being a felon in possession of a weapon and possession of a controlled substance. After a rally in Latrobe on Saturday, Donald Trump remained in Pennsylvania on Sunday to take in a primetime NFL matchup with the New York Jets visiting the Pittsburgh Steelers at Acrisure Stadium on Sunday night. And when Steelers fans spotted the 45th President of the United States, a loud “U-S-A!” chant filled the stadium. Trump’s Deputy Director of Communications, Margo Martin, shared the video on X of Trump pumping his fist, egging the Steelers fans below on as they chanted. JD Vance’s Wisconsin rally shouted “Jesus is King!” during his speech on Sunday afternoon, with Vance echoing the attendee and repeating the same phrase – a different approach than Vice President Kamala Harris seemed to take last week. Vance shared that, while he doesn’t talk about his faith often, he returned to his faith as a young man and is a devout Christian. He said he was baptized in 2019.”I say this as a Christian, as a person who was baptized for the first time just a few years ago.
