Donald Trump leads raucous ‘U-S-A!’ chant from suite at Steelers-Jets game

Donald Trump leads raucous ‘U-S-A!’ chant from suite at Steelers-Jets game

After a rally in Latrobe on Saturday, Donald Trump remained in Pennsylvania on Sunday to take in a primetime NFL matchup with the New York Jets visiting the Pittsburgh Steelers at Acrisure Stadium on Sunday night. And when Steelers fans spotted the 45th President of the United States, a loud “U-S-A!” chant filled the stadium. Trump’s Deputy Director of Communications, Margo Martin, shared the video on X of Trump pumping his fist, egging the Steelers fans below on as they chanted. Trump was spotted waving to fans as well. CLICK HERE FOR MORE SPORTS COVERAGE ON FOXNEWS.COMFormer Steelers star wide receiver Antonio Brown, who spoke at the Latrobe rally and endorsed Trump publicly ahead of this year’s presidential election, was waiting for the Republican candidate on the tarmac ahead of the game. Brown was spotted outside with Steelers fans before the game, launching yellow and black rally towels with “Trump/Vance” written across them. He was decked out in MAGA gear just as he was on Saturday at the rally. STEELERS LEGENDS ENDORSE KAMALA HARRIS AHEAD OF TRUMP’S APPEARANCE AT GAME VS JETSBrown and his ex-Steelers teammate Le’Veon Bell, who also spoke at the rally, were both expected to be alongside Trump at the game, which was garnering loads of national attention in this week’s NFL action. While it is a Steelers home game, the Jets made massive trade news leading up to this contest as Aaron Rodgers reunites with his old Green Bay Packers receiver, Davante Adams, who was sent over from the Las Vegas Raiders after requesting a trade out of Sin City. But Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin also made a switch to quarterback, as Russell Wilson made his debut with Pittsburgh on Sunday night as well. If that national attention wasn’t enough, the Steelers knew they had to reinforce its security protocols with Trump expected to make his appearance, telling fans to arrive earlier to parking lots and the game to ensure they have a good fan experience. “With former President Trump expected to attend Sunday night’s game as a guest of an individual suite holder, we are working with Secret Service and local authorities to ensure the safety and security of all our fans,” the statement said. “As always, we will work to make the fan experience the same as it always is for every Steelers home game at Acrisure Stadium. “We encourage fans to arrive early to the parking lots and to the gates so that they can enjoy our pregame experience and our celebrations throughout the game that will honor the 50th anniversary of our Super Bowl IX team.”STEELERS ADD SECURITY MEASURES FOR TRUMP’S ATTENDANCE AT GAME AGAINST AARON RODGERS’ JETSTrump is no stranger to enjoying some football, as he recently made the trip to Tuscaloosa, Alabama for a Crimson Tide matchup against the Georgia Bulldogs on Sept. 28. And he was also met with “U-S-A!” chants from college football fans when he was spotted at Bryant-Denny Stadium. Follow Fox News Digital’s sports coverage on X, and subscribe to the Fox News Sports Huddle newsletter.

Vance takes faith approach after Harris mocked pro-life protesters at rally: ‘Jesus is King’

Vance takes faith approach after Harris mocked pro-life protesters at rally: 'Jesus is King'

An attendee at Sen. JD Vance’s Wisconsin rally shouted “Jesus is King!” during his speech on Sunday afternoon, with Vance echoing the attendee and repeating the same phrase – a different approach than Vice President Kamala Harris seemed to take last week. Vance shared that, while he doesn’t talk about his faith often, he returned to his faith as a young man and is a devout Christian. He said he was baptized in 2019.”I say this as a Christian, as a person who was baptized for the first time just a few years ago. There is something really bizarre with Kamala Harris’ anti-Christian rhetoric and anti-Christian approach to public policy,” Vance explained. This comes after Vice President Kamala Harris seemingly told two Christian students at her Wisconsin rally last week that they were “at the wrong rally” when they shouted “Jesus is Lord” and “Christ is King.”PRO-LIFE PROTESTERS SPEAK OUT AFTER ALLEGEDLY BEING MOCKED, PUSHED AT HARRIS RALLY: ‘WE DID GOD’S WORK’As he continued speaking about faith and politics, he was interrupted by an attendee who shouted “Jesus is King.” “That’s right. Jesus is King,” Vance responds.Vance then addressed a viral video of Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer wearing a Harris-Walz campaign hat while feeding Doritos to a kneeling podcast host in what some critics said made a mockery of a sacred Christian rite. “I don’t think that we’ve seen anything like this in modern American politics,” Vance said. “Gretchen Whitmer does this really bizarre thing where she acts like she’s given somebody communion, but it’s a Dorito. And of course, Gretchen Whitmer isn’t like a minister of anything except for, you know, a church I don’t necessarily want to talk about, but think about how sacrilegious that is and think about how offensive that is to every person.””Frankly, whether you’re a person of Christian faith or not, Donald Trump and I are going to fight for your right to live your values, because that’s what the First Amendment protects. And I think whether you’re a Christian, a Catholic or any other faith or no faith at all, when you see an American leader, when you see a surrogate of Kamala Harris insulting people of the Christian faith, I think that we should say to every single one of those people, you’re fired. We’re not giving you any more power,” Vance continued.CATHOLICS HOLD ‘ROSARY RALLY’ OUTSIDE GRETCHEN WHITMER’S HOUSE AFTER DORITOS VIDEO SPARKS BACKLASHWhitmer has since apologized for the video and emphasized that the video was not meant to mock people of faith.Vance continued speaking about the support the Trump administration has for religious people, unlike the Harris campaign, he said.”There are a lot of Catholics. So I think rightfully feel abandoned by Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’s leadership. And they’re just looking for somebody to protect their rights and make this country an affordable and decent place to raise a family,” Vance said during his rally in Waukesha. “And that’s all I think that’s true of a lot of Catholics. It’s true of non-Catholics, too. But we cannot have an American government that is persecuting Christians for living their faith. We should be rewarding people and encouraging people to live their faith.” Vance’s comments come after two pro-life Wisconsin college students insisted that they were doing “God’s work” by attending Harris’ rally on their university’s campus and shouting pro-life, Christian messages last week. GRETCHEN WHITMER APOLOGIZES FOR DORITOS VIDEO CRITICS SAY MOCKED CHRISTIAN SACRAMENTIn video footage of the rally, the student’s voices are heard shouting the phrases.Harris, pausing her speech, turned her attention to them, and said, “You guys are at the wrong rally.”She continued as the crowd roared, “I think you meant to go to the smaller one down the street” – referring to Trump’s rally.Luke Polaske, a University of Wisconsin-La Crosse junior, shared a vivid account of the incident from his perspective, stating that he and fellow UW-La Crosse junior Grant Beth were approximately 20 to 30 yards away from Harris in the small venue. In detailing the encounter, he described his perceived interaction with the vice president.”There’s a lot of controversy that says she wasn’t talking to us or [that] we left. We didn’t get kicked out. Well, I can speak on Grant and I’s behalf,” Polaske said.”On video, Grant’s getting pushed and shoved, and there’s about five seconds before she tells us to go to a small rally down the street. You can see on the video, she waves. She was actually waving to me. I took this cross off my neck that I wear and, as we were getting asked to leave, I held it up in the air and waved at her and pointed at her, and she looked directly in the eye, kind of gave me an evil smirk.””I just want to clear that up and confirm that she 100% was talking to us.”Fox News Digital reached out to Kamala Harris’ campaign for comment and did not immediately receive a response. Fox News Digital’s Taylor Penley contributed to this report.

Chiefs remain NFL’s only undefeated team after taking down 49ers in Super Bowl rematch

Chiefs remain NFL's only undefeated team after taking down 49ers in Super Bowl rematch

Overtime wasn’t needed for the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers to determine a victor this time around, as the Super Bowl rematch resulted in Patrick Mahomes & Co. winning again on Sunday. With the 28-18 final on the road, the Chiefs are the NFL’s only remaining undefeated team after the Minnesota Vikings lost to their NFC North rival Detroit Lions on a last-second field goal earlier Sunday. Once again, it wasn’t Mahomes’ best effort out on the field Sunday, but he managed to get the job done, which included moments where he worked some of his patented “Mahomes Magic” with his legs. CLICK HERE FOR MORE SPORTS COVERAGE ON FOXNEWS.COMMahomes scored a rushing touchdown in the fourth quarter, which was his first score on the ground in his last 32 games, including the playoffs. His elusive abilities in and outside the pocket have developed into the stuff of legend at this point, but Mahomes found a seam from one yard out to put the Chiefs up 21-12 as the quarter began. Earlier in that drive, Mahomes rushed for his longest yardage of his career as he scampered his way not just past the San Francisco 30-yard line for a first down but an extra 26 yards for a total 33-yard gain on the ground. It appeared like Mahomes was just going to go out of bounds when he reached the first-down marker, but he hit a quick stop so the San Francisco defender couldn’t tackle him and continued to march along the left sideline before finally going out. PATRICK MAHOMES SAYS HE LETS TAYLOR SWIFT BAKE WITH HIS DAUGHTER AMID POTENTIAL TRUMP VS HARRIS DIVIDEMahomes finished the day with 39 yards on the ground on five carries, though he didn’t fare well through the air with 154 yards on 16-of-27 passing with two interceptions and no touchdown passes. Nonetheless, the Chiefs leaned on the ground game, anchored by Kareem Hunt with his 78 yards and two touchdowns, while Mecole Hardman iced the victory in the Bay Area with an 18-yard end-around sprint to the end zone for a score as well.Meanwhile, Brock Purdy was having issues all game long with the Chiefs’ defense, which continues to be a formidable unit led by coordinator Steve Spagnuolo. Purdy threw three interceptions, two of which came on back-to-back second half drives that the Chiefs scored their fourth-quarter touchdowns on in response. He was 17 of 31 through the air for 212 yards, though he did rush for two touchdowns on eight carries for 27 yards. The 49ers were already down a man as Deebo Samuel attempted to battle an illness to start the game, but he ultimately had to bow out. Then Brandon Aiyuk, to whom San Francisco just paid big money this past offseason after a long contract roller coaster, appeared to suffer a serious leg injury after being tackled in the right knee area. He was carted off the field. In turn, it was tight end George Kittle with a game-high 92 yards receiving on six catches for the 49ers, while rookie Jacob Cowing had 50 yards on two catches thanks to a 41-yard shot down the field that set up a touchdown for Purdy. As the Chiefs enjoy yet another win this season, the Niners are still searching for consistency as they drop to 3-4 on the year. Follow Fox News Digital’s sports coverage on X and subscribe to the Fox News Sports Huddle newsletter.

During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, cancer expert says ‘survivor tsunami’ is coming

During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, cancer expert says 'survivor tsunami' is coming

Breast cancer patients and survivors are speaking out on how the treatment landscape is setting them up to not just survive, but thrive.A recent report from the American Cancer Society (ACS) shows that although cases are still rising — particularly among younger women and groups such as Asian-Americans and Pacific Islanders — mortality rates are dropping. Since 1989, the rate of breast cancer deaths has declined 44%.BREAST CANCER PATIENT SAYS NEW TYPE OF CHEMO SAVED HER LIFE: ‘I AM THRIVING’ Younger women under 50 saw a 1.4% increased rate of breast cancer year over year, while the latter groups faced 2-½ times the number of diagnoses, the report revealed. The rise of breast cancer diagnoses is partly due to an uptick in risk factors, such as obesity and exposures to alcohol and ultra-processed foods, according to Karen Knudsen, CEO of the American Cancer Society in Pennsylvania.”I’M A RADIOLOGIST – TO REDUCE BREAST CANCER RISK, EAT THESE 5 FOODS AND FOLLOW THESE HEALTHY HABITSIt’s not all bad news, she told Fox News, as a “survivor tsunami” is on the horizon.”We have almost 19 million cancer survivors now in the United States,” Knudsen said. “And with the new advances in cancer treatment, we’re going to see even more survivors.”More than half of cancer patients and survivors say they’ve taken on medical debt, according to the ACS. A majority weren’t prepared for the costs, with 73% saying they are concerned about their ability to pay current or future health care expenses. Three in five people who are diagnosed with cancer face financial hardships, such as taking unpaid leave, losing health insurance or losing a job, the report found. More programs, clinics and workplaces are offering financial relief and services to help ease the burden on breast cancer patients and survivors, including temporary housing. One survivor, Shannon Barette, told Fox News that she owes much of her successful battle against bilateral breast cancer to Hope Lodge, an ACS community that provides housing for cancer patients and their caregivers in various locations across the country. When Barette faced struggles with her physical and mental recovery, Hope Lodge made it possible for her to receive treatment at NYU and overcome the associated financial burdens, she said.”Women need to focus on their treatment and recovery,” Barette told Fox News. POTENTIAL HEALTH BENEFITS OF GOING 30 DAYS WITHOUT ALCOHOL”We need a community to help every breast cancer survivor get the treatment they need. And they are entitled to world-class medicine. That should not be held back because of any kind of financial burden.”After going through almost 2-½ years of treatment — including immunotherapy, chemotherapy and reconstructive surgery — Barette was declared cancer-free.Most breast cancer patients rely on employer-sponsored coverage. When Fox Business correspondent Gerri Willis learned she had stage 3 breast cancer eight years ago, her employer provided her with the health insurance coverage she needed to undergo treatment without experiencing financial setbacks. “The diagnosis hit me hard, but I didn’t have to worry about being able to afford treatment,” Willis told Fox News.”My employer had great health insurance coverage, and I was never forced to choose between paying a bill and getting treatment — but I was one of the lucky ones,” she went on.”Too many women face the added pressure of having to find a way to pay big bills while fighting for their lives.”Some employer plans offer case managers to help employees work through paying the bills and out-of-pocket costs, Willis noted. For those who don’t have coverage, there are independent and government programs to help fund cancer essentials, from treatment to transportation. Coinciding with Breast Cancer Awareness Month, some clinics are offering complimentary laser tattoo removals for survivors who have radiation markings. “They’ve gone through a huge journey that has been very sad, and now they want to feel comfortable in their own skin, whether it’s in clothing or in bathing suits,” Dr. Kevin Tehrani, a surgeon at Aristocrat Plastic Surgery in located in New York City and Great Neck, Long Island, told Fox News. CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP FOR OUR HEALTH NEWSLETTER”The removal process takes them to the next level of confidence and helps them move past the dark part of the journey.”Dr. Tehrani and his team usually spend three to four sessions removing the tattoos until they are completely eradicated. Earlier this month, the clinic removed four to five radiation marks from survivors. Most survivors did not even realize they could have the markings removed, the doctor noted. For more Health articles, visit www.foxnews.com/healthDr. Tehrani also offers free screenings for breast cancer survivors who receive silicone implants, which is the majority of patients who opt for reconstructive surgery. Although the screening is typically covered by insurance in most states, the clinic is enhancing the service with their ultrasonographic technologies.

New ‘insulting’ Harris ad targets Black men’s love lives

New ‘insulting’ Harris ad targets Black men's love lives

Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign released a new digital advertisement that targets Black men’s love lives, insinuating that they will be rejected by women if they don’t have a plan to vote. The ads depict a dating game in which a Black man approaches a group of women who are holding balloons. They begin to ask him questions about himself, including how much he makes, how tall he is and whether he works out.The man’s answers get seemingly positive responses from the women, until one asks him if he has a plan to vote in November.”Nah, not my thing,” the man says, prompting all the women in the scene to pop their balloons.”Vote. Election Day is Nov 5,” reads a message at the end of the ad alongside a Harris-Walz campaign logo.BLACK GROUP FIRES BACK AT OBAMA FOR ‘INSULTING’ HARRIS PITCH: ‘WORST KIND OF IDENTITY POLITICS'”New Harris/Walz ad tells black men that women will reject them if they don’t vote,” Center for the Study of Partisanship and Ideology President Richard Hanania remarked in a post on X along with a video of the ad. “Memorable and works as an appeal to self-interest.”But not all users were sold on the content of the ad, with some arguing that the ad only served to “insult” and “dehumanize” Black men.”Democrats continue to dehumanize and insult black men and try to shame and pressure them into only voting for them,” one user wrote. “Kamala campaign doesn’t even try to engage respectfully.””Does the Harris Walz team really believe this will convince anyone to vote for them?” asked another.”Belittling and insulting,” another user added.”I think this might have the opposite effect,” one user quipped.‘AUTO WORKERS FOR TRUMP’ LEADER SAYS THOUSANDS POISED TO BREAK FROM DEMS OVER GREEN POLICIES, JOB KILLING REGSThe ad comes as some have begun to speculate that Harris is struggling to win over the support of young Black men, a typically dependable demographic of voters for Democrats.According to one Howard University Initiative on Public Opinion poll, 81% of Black men say they plan to vote for Harris, though that number drops to 68% for Black men under 50 years old, with 21% of that group indicating they plan to support former President Trump.Former President Barack Obama has also joined in on the recent appeal to Black men, arguing at a rally in Pennsylvania earlier this month that the group should have the same enthusiasm for Harris as they did for his campaigns in 2008 and 2012.”My understanding, based on reports I’m getting from campaigns and communities, is that we have not yet seen the same kinds of energy and turnout in all quarters of our neighborhoods and communities as we saw when I was running,” Obama said at the time, adding that the lack of enthusiasm “seems to be more pronounced with the brothers” and that they might not want to support a female president.”And you are thinking about sitting out?” he said. “Part of it makes me think – and I’m speaking to men directly – part of it makes me think that, well, you just aren’t feeling the idea of having a woman as president, and you’re coming up with other alternatives and other reasons for that.”The Harris campaign did not immediately respond to a Fox News Digital request for comment.Get the latest updates from the 2024 campaign trail, exclusive interviews and more at our Fox News Digital election hub.
