First on Fox: Top outside group backing Senate Republicans showcases fundraising haul

First on Fox: Top outside group backing Senate Republicans showcases fundraising haul

EXCLUSIVE – As the GOP fights to win back the Senate majority, the leading super PAC that supports Republican incumbents and candidates says it hauled in $114.5 million during the July-September third quarter of 2024 fundraising. And the Senate Leadership Fund (SLF), in sharing its fundraising figures first with Fox News on Tuesday, reports having $112 million cash on hand as of the end of last month. The group, which is aligned with longtime Senate GOP leader Mitch McConnell, noted that its fundraising the past three months included a $28 million contribution from One Nation, its allied non-profit organization. And SLF touted that its haul over the past three months brings to $181 million its fundraising for the entire 2024 election cycle – and that it has raked in more this cycle than it did at the same point in the 2022 midterms.WHAT THE LATEST FOX NEWS POLLS IN THE 2024 ELECTION SHOW “Our goal from the outset of the cycle was to win back the majority by helping recruit great candidates and raising enough money to help them compete against entrenched, well-funded Democrats. As we approach Election Day, our donors have continued to support our efforts in these battleground contests, and we’re grateful for their generosity,” SLF President and CEO Steven Law told Fox News in a statement.Democrats hold a slim 51-49 majority in the Senate, which includes three independent senators who caucus with the Democratic conference.SIX KEY SENATE SEATS THAT COULD FLIP IN NOVEMBER That means Republicans need a net gain of either one or two seats to win back the majority – depending on which party controls the White House after this year’s presidential election. The math and the map favor the GOP in 2024. Democrats are defending 23 of the 34 seats up for grabs. One of those seats is in West Virginia, a deep-red state that former President Trump carried by nearly 40 points in 2020. With moderate Democrat-turned-independent Sen. Joe Manchin, a former governor, not seeking re-election, flipping the seat is nearly a sure thing for the GOP.Republicans are also aiming to flip seats in Ohio and Montana, two states Trump comfortably carried four years ago. And five more Democrat-held seats up for grabs this year are in crucial presidential election battleground states. With Democrats trying to protect their fragile Senate majority, they received another headache in February when former two-term Republican Gov. Larry Hogan of Maryland launched a campaign for an open seat in the heavily blue state.SLF says that it and the allied group American Crossroads have reserved $228.5 million in television, radio and digital ads across Montana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Michigan and started spending that money as of Labor Day. The two groups are spending a combined $82.5 million in Ohio, where longtime Democratic Sen. Sherrod Brown is fighting for his political life against GOP challenger Berie Moreno, and $47.9 million in Montana, where polls indicate that Republican challenger Tim Sheehy holds a slight lead over Democratic Sen. Jon Tester.SLF is spending $52 million in Pennsylvania, where polls point to Republican nominee Dave McCormick closing the gap against Democratic Sen. Bob Casey. The group is also dishing out $23.6 million in a very competitive race in Wisconsin, where Republican Eric Hovde is challenging Democratic Sen. Tammy Baldwin, and $22.5 million in Michigan where former GOP Rep. Mike Rogers is facing off against Democratic Rep. Elissa Slotkin in the race to succeed longtime Democratic Sen. Debbie Stabenow.Get the latest updates from the 2024 campaign trail, exclusive interviews and more at our Fox News Digital election hub.

BILLIONAIRES FOR HARRIS: But the people want Trump (the billionaire)

BILLIONAIRES FOR HARRIS: But the people want Trump (the billionaire)

In this final stage of the 2024 presidential election, it feels as if the only thing going well for Vice President Kamala Harris is fundraising.Cash is pouring into her coffers on such a scale that some reports suggest the campaign is reluctant to be seen “bragging” about it.Of course, it proves — just as Donald Trump’s victory over Hillary Clinton did in 2016 — that no amount of money can make up for a terrible candidate. And boy is Kamala Harris a terrible candidate. HOLLYWOOD ELITES FOR HARRIS: CELEBS SIGN ON FOR ANOTHER TIRED, STAR-FILLED SEQUELFrom the embarrassing, scripted, substance-free teleprompter speeches, to the terror of answering real questions, to the calamitous responses she gives even to entirely predictable questions, it’s easy to see why Kamala Harris’ previous presidential campaign collapsed into mediocrity, failure and finger-pointing after the sugar-high of its launch. It’s harder to see why Democrats thought it would be any different this time. The only thing that changed since 2020 was Kamala Harris proving to be a flop as vice president, too.Nevertheless, there does seem to be one group of Americans who are still feeling “the joy.” Unfortunately for the Harris campaign, it’s not Black men, Hispanic women, or any other large block of voters.Instead, it’s a very small group indeed: billionaires. Yes, the same “billionaire class” that Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., rails against as he waves his hands around conjuring up a socialist utopia, is all in for Kamala, according to recent reporting. What could explain this apparent contradiction, the traditional party of the left attracting the support of capitalism’s ultimate beneficiaries?Well, the answer is right there: the fact that these people have been such financial winners means they can afford to indulge in personally painless virtue-signaling by backing policies that would cause real hardship for the less fortunate.Who cares if a Kamala Harris administration continues to inflate energy costs with a renewed bout of ‘climate’ extremism? The billionaires will barely notice the extra charges for their private jets. In winter time they won’t have to choose between heating their home(s) and cooking their food. They’ll most likely be in St. Bart’s anyway. These aren’t bad people. Living and working in Silicon Valley, I know some of them personally — for example, Reid Hoffman, co-founder of LinkedIn, probably the leading billionaire antagonist of Donald Trump, was years ago the lead investor in my tech startup. He recently found himself in hot water over claims that he and other billionaire donors were trying to buy outcomes, for example, more lax enforcement of antitrust laws. But I don’t think this is about furthering business interests. They have armies of lobbyists for that. No, supporting Kamala Harris — or more precisely, opposing Donald Trump — isn’t primarily a financial, or even political decision: it’s more likely to be cultural and psychological. After all, it’s hard to find a rational explanation. In every major category of policy: economic, domestic security, foreign affairs and national security, Trump’s performance in office was demonstrably superior to the Biden-Harris years. But from the moment Trump appeared on the political scene in 2015, you could feel the wealthy elite recoil. He’s just not to their taste. They think he’s “vulgar.” How appalling that he likes McDonald’s!Of course, the cultural snobbery needs to be dressed up in some kind of principle, so they have glommed on to the notion, endlessly repeated, that Trump is a “threat to democracy.” Even as the Democratic Party is the one actually undermining democracy, for example by overturning elections here in California.CLICK HERE FOR MORE FOX NEWS OPINIONFor some, the psychological drive to support Kamala Harris might be the age-old motivation of assuaging guilt. In this sense, it could be seen as just another form of philanthropy. (Except that philanthropy, generally speaking, helps people.)Now to be clear, I don’t have anything against billionaires. I support the free enterprise system wholeheartedly. My parents were working-class immigrants from Communist Hungary, so I don’t begrudge a rich person their wealth. If they’ve achieved their financial success through hard work and talent, good for them. But as long as I can remember, my focus in politics has been helping people climb the ladder of opportunity. And it became increasingly clear to me that the establishment policy consensus of the past 50 years or so had failed working people badly. That’s why I supported Brexit in 2016, and then Trump. It’s why the theme of my Fox News show “The Next Revolution,” and the book I wrote in 2018, was “Positive Populism.”I said at the time that the Republican Party had the opportunity to become a “multiracial working class coalition.” After nearly a decade of Trump leading the GOP, that opportunity has become a reality. It’s based on economic results. During the Trump presidency, the earnings of those at the lowest levels of the income scale rose faster than those at the top, for the first time in half a century. That’s why we’re seeing this extraordinary political transformation in America, with the GOP becoming the workers’ party while the Democrats become the party of the billionaires. And ironically enough, it was a billionaire who did it — Donald Trump, the blue-collar billionaire. His cultural appeal and policy success brought about a truly historic political revolution, Republicans representing the working class of all races and backgrounds, leaving the Democrats and their billionaire backers stranded as the party of the rich, white and woke.CLICK HERE FOR MORE FROM STEVE HILTON

BATTLEGROUND SERIES: Arizona’s 11 electoral votes hinge on key swing county Biden won by a hair in 2020

BATTLEGROUND SERIES: Arizona's 11 electoral votes hinge on key swing county Biden won by a hair in 2020

MARICOPA COUNTY, AZ – Arizona is expected to be one of the most closely watched and highly competitive swing states in the upcoming presidential election and the state’s largest county will play a critical role in deciding who wins that state and ultimately the White House.Maricopa County, which surrounds Phoenix in south central Arizona and is home to over 4.5 million people, is widely considered one of the key battleground counties in the United States due to its diverse political breakdown and will deliver 11 crucial electoral votes to either former President Trump or Vice President Kamala Harris.”Maricopa County is our largest and most populous county in Arizona,” Arizona GOP Chairwoman Gina Swoboda told Fox News Digital. “It contains over 60% of our voters statewide. It’s about a third Democrat, a third Republican, and a third Independent. That fluctuates a bit. But essentially, we’re a third, a third, a third.””We have what I would call a dense urban core in Phoenix. And then we have suburbs and it’s growing. It’s consistently one of the highest growing counties in the United States. It’s a diverse county just because of the makeup, we’ve got urban and then we’ve got the suburbs and then we have what were kind of little, little towns becoming cities very rapidly. So when you have that kind of growth, that puts a lot of pressure on a community and because it’s 60% of the vote of the state, it gets a lot of attention.”IN ARIZONA SPEECH, VANCE SAYS NEXT PRESIDENT MUST PUT AMERICANS FIRST, SLAMS FEMA MONEY FOR MIGRANTSSwoboda told Fox News Digital that if you’re looking to run for office in Maricopa County you’ve got a “broad swath of the electorate” and you “have to speak to their issues.”Those key issues during this election cycle, according to Swoboda, are the economy and immigration. “Inflation is number one and when we say inflation in Arizona, we’re one of the hardest hit states in the country for our prices going up,” Swoboda said. “But part of that is affordable housing. And that’s a huge issue in the state of Arizona, particularly in rapidly growing Maricopa.”President Joe Biden won the state of Arizona by less than 1 half of 1 percent in the 2020 election and the results in Maricopa County were also slim with Biden beating former President Trump by 2 %.The Harris-Walz campaign has been active in the county over the last few months and the Arizona campaign team told Fox News Digital that they have knocked on 90,000 doors, made over 1.7 million phone calls, and have 15,000 volunteers that have completed a shift in the county.ENIGMATIC VOTER GROUP COULD SPLIT TICKET FOR TRUMP, DEM SENATE CANDIDATE IN ARIZONA”Vice President Harris, Governor Walz, Second Gentleman Emhoff, and Minnesota First Lady Gwen Walz all visited Arizona in September,” the campaign said. “Recently, Vice President Harris visited Douglas, Arizona to tout her policies to keep Arizona’s border secure, marking her eighth visit to Arizona this year.”Polling has increasingly shown that Trump leads Harris with low propensity voters which has become an increased focus in the Trump ground game. The same is true in Arizona, specifically Maricopa County, where Turning Point Action, which has taken the lead in organizing Trump’s GOTV efforts, has launched programs like “Commit 100” and “Chase the Vote” to mobilize those voters.A spokesperson for Turning Point Action told Fox News Digital that it is actively targeting 400,000 low propensity voters in Arizona and that Republican voter registration efforts in Arizona over the last two years has “put the state in a very difficult mathematical spot for Democrats.”A spokesperson for the RNC told Fox News Digital that Republicans have “doubled” the GOP voter registration advantage in Arizona since 2020 and that the RNC has almost a dozen offices across the state as part of its Trump Force 47 initiative to “meet voters where they are.”Nationwide, immigration is one of the most important issues to voters according to the polls and that’s no different in Arizona where voters who spoke to Fox News Digital said immigration is a top concern despite differing opinions on which candidate would best handle the unfolding crisis.”We have to have swifter incarceration at the border,” Mary from Phoenix told Fox News Digital. “And if there’s a suspicion that they’re going to commit a crime, lock them up.”Mary said that it was “infuriating” that the recent bipartisan border deal died in Congress and said that if Harris is elected, “She will get it signed.”Nick from Sun City West told Fox News Digital that Harris’ immigration policy has been “dismal at best.””Control the border,” he said. “At least keep the border safe. Keep people from being able to get in that aren’t supposed to be able to come in unless they come in through the regular normal channels.”Trump holds a razor-thin two-point edge over Harris in battleground Arizona, according to a recent public opinion poll.Fueling the former president’s margin appears to be support from voters age 50 and over. Trump stands at 49% among likely voters in Arizona, with Harris at 47%, according to an AARP poll conducted Sept. 24-Oct. 1 and released on Tuesday. According to the survey, Green Party candidate Jill Stein grabs 1% support, with 3% undecided.
“In some ways, it’s like a state of its own because 65, 68% of our entire state population in Arizona resides in Maricopa County,” Arizona GOP Senate candidate Kari Lake told Fox News Digital. “It’s one of those mega counties. I frankly also think it’s a mega county, but it’s a mega county. And so it’s a really important county. What happens in Maricopa County can affect the entire country and really the entire world, because we know whatever way Maricopa County can take the whole country that way, because it’s so massive, it can take the whole state that way. And so it’s an important county.”Fox News Digital’s Paul Steinhauser and Hannah Ray Lambert contributed to this report

GREG GUTFELD: If you’re a man, don’t let an actor or a Martha’s Vineyard elitist tell you how to vote

GREG GUTFELD: If you're a man, don't let an actor or a Martha's Vineyard elitist tell you how to vote

So last week, fans of Kamala Harris dropped this ad, “Men for Kamala.” And you might want to pop a Midol before you take a look. CREATIVES FOR HARRIS AD: I’m man enough to enjoy a barrel-proof bourbon. Meat. Man enough to cook my steak rare. Man enough to deadlift 500 and braid the s*** out of my daughter’s hair. You think I’m afraid to rebuild a carburetor? I eat carburetors for breakfast. I ain’t afraid of bears. That’s what bear hugs are for. I’ll tell you another thing I sure as s*** am not afraid of — women. They want to control their bodies? I say go for it. They want to use IVF to start a family? I’m not afraid of families. I’m man enough to tell you that I cried at “Love Actually,” “Good Will Hunting,” “West Side Story” — that and “Predator.” I’m sick of so-called men domineering, belittling and controlling women just so they can feel more powerful. That’s not how my momma raised me.I hope there were tampons in the men’s room at that audition. That was as manly as Dylan Mulvany shaving Rachel Levine’s legs. Now, the ad wasn’t authorized by any candidate, but it could have been paid for by Trump because it was about as authentic as Tim Walz’s war record. Although so-called voters were paid actors and not typical actors either, as far as I know, none are successfully waiting tables. Their film credits are rarer than fruit in Brian Stelter’s lunch. But some of those men were so effeminate they asked to be paid $0.80 on the dollar.A SEXIST WOULD SAY!Hahaha, not funny. The message was that even real men can vote for Kamala. Which raises the question, if these men are out there, then why make this commercial? I mean, would they need Kamala’s supporters to assure them it’s OK? It’s like Kamala’s your mom, and she’s giving you a note to give to your teacher saying it’s OK for Billy to go on a field trip. Let’s just hope Coach Walz isn’t on the bus. Do you recall any ads telling someone it was OK to vote for Trump or to vote for anyone else for that matter? HARRIS CAMPAIGN DEPLOYS BILL CLINTON TO KEY STATES 22 DAYS FROM ELECTION DAYRecall any ads from the 80s saying that real men are allowed to vote for Reagan? He didn’t need it. He locked down votes for real men, real women, even real chimps. It’s sad that you got to prove these men are actually out there. Kamala’s campaign is like Bud Light trying to win back the alpha males who used to drink it, only this time, instead of beer, it’s the Democratic Party. But the fact that you had to hire actors to pretend they’re blue-collar types who vote for Harris means there aren’t any real ones. Nope. Dems know that real men see through this b*****. After all, look at her husband and her V.P. They make Siegfried & Roy look like Ali and Frazier. It’s getting sad at this point. Listen to actress, Jennifer Garner, trying to assure male Kamala supporters that they’re still men.JENNIFER GARNER: I mean, I’m looking at these beautiful faces, these women and these strong men. God, is there anything sexier than a man who is like, men for Kamala? Those men are just cheering because they want free Tampax. That video made more scrotums shrink than a urologist with cold hands. Now, the only way Kamala voters are hot is if they’re running a fever. And frankly, you’d have to be delirious to vote for her. And then there’s Obama, sensing trouble, admonishing Black men for not voting for her, blaming it on sexism.OBAMA CALLS OUT ‘BROTHERS’ APPREHENSIVE TO VOTE FOR HARRIS: ‘YOU’RE THINKING OF SITTING OUT?’BARACK OBAMA: We have not yet seen the same kinds of energy and turnout in all quarters of our neighborhoods and communities as we saw when I was running. I also want to say that that seems to be more pronounced with the brothers. When you have a choice that is this clear. Part of it makes me think, and I’m speaking to men directly, part of it makes me think that, well, you just aren’t feeling the idea of having a woman as president. There you go. You’re sexist. I’m surprised you didn’t nag them for not knowing which was their shrimp fork. But Obama, shouldn’t you be back on Martha’s Vineyard? You know, where the Black population is roughly 3%. If he wanted to twist some arms, he should have sent Michelle. But meanwhile, as Dems launched commercials for Castrato, what was Elon Musk launching? New line of robots, a sleek self-driving bus and then a rocket, which he caught on the way down. It’s kind of amazing. I mean, think about it. Think about the physics. I mean, that’s like lifting Joy Behar into the stratosphere and then landing her on an aircraft carrier. Except lighter. But here’s a guy who doesn’t need to be told it’s OK to do anything. In fact, they tell him the opposite. And yet look what he gets done. The man literally has a spaceship and it works. The people come back alive. How many people in history could say that? So if you’re looking at men, which side appeals to you more? A bunch of broke actors or a billionaire genius inventor? Now, when I watched that Harris ad, I wasn’t embarrassed about being a man because I’m not them. And when I see Musk, I’m not proud of being a man because I didn’t do what he did. He did it. And that’s it. It’s about individuals, not the group. It’s the point that the Dems always miss. Which is why they need actors to play what they think are men, because they don’t know what men are unless they’re a group that they can herd like sheep. And they embarrass themselves doing it like Tim Walz trying to hunt.Shut up! You know he doesn’t know what he’s doing when he’s talking through it. But it’s nothing like those weapons of war he claimed he carried into battle, which were actually gelato spoons while he was stationed in Italy. I mean, that was worse than Liz Warren trying to drink a beer, or as her people call it, firewater. But I never know.I never know. But they’re always trying to be everything that they’re not, which is regular people. And what’s worse, they don’t like regular people. So if you’re a man, don’t let an actor or a Martha’s Vineyard elitist tell you how to vote. Hell, you don’t even need me to tell you that. You can make up your own decisions. It’s how we get honest elections and spaceships that work.
