The Cowboys-GIants rivalry remains lopsided in favor of America’s Team.The reigning NFC East champions won their seventh game in a row against Big Blue, coming away with a 20-15 victory in New Jersey on Thursday.The Giants got on the board first with a field goal, but Dallas responded with a Rico Dowdle touchdown (that came after a holding flag was picked up), and then CeeDee Lamb scored a long touchdown. Aubrey drilled another one, though, to make it a 20-15 Dallas lead with just under seven minutes to go.BENGALS JA’MARR CHASE ‘HAVING FUN AGAIN’ AFTER DEALING WITH ‘BS’ IN THE OFFSEASONOn 4th and 6, Daniel Jones targeted Malik Nabers for the 15th time (he already had a dozen catches), but he couldn’t finish his toe-tap, and the Cowboys took over with 3:21 left. Nabers suffered a concussion on the play. Aubrey, though, missed a 51-yarder wide right, giving the Giants one more chance with 28 seconds left and no timeouts left. However, a Jones Hail Mary was intercepted, giving Dallas the victory.It’s the Cowboys’ seventh consecutive victory against New York, their 14th in their last 15 games, and their 19th in their last 23 matchups.For Dallas, it snaps a two-game losing skid, while New York has now lost three of their first four games.Entering Thursday, the Cowboys’ run defense was the worst in the league – naturally, Devin Singletary only ran for 24 yards. Pope Francis remains wildly popular in Latin America, according to a new survey, but saw a decrease in favorability in Argentina.Pew Research Center released a comprehensive study, titled, “”How People in Latin America and the U.S. view Pope Francis.” The poll surveyed 6,234 adults last year in six of Latin American’s most populous countries.The poll found that attitudes toward the pope — in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru —are still broadly positive although overall less positive than they were a decade ago.In Brazil and Mexico, for instance, 68% of adults have a favorable opinion of the pope.WHITE HOUSE RESPONDS AFTER POPE CONDEMNS ‘GENDER THEORY,’ AFFIRMS BIDEN’S SUPPORT FOR TRANS COMMUNITYThe favorability for the pope in Argentina had the biggest drop among the six surveyed countries.POPE FRANCIS RESPONDS TO CONSERVATIVE CRITICS IN NEW INTERVIEW A decade ago, 91% of Argentinians said that they had a positive opinion of Francis. The Chicago Sky reportedly fired head coach Teresa Weatherspoon less than a year after the franchise hired her, and it’s shaken star rookie Angel Reese to the core. After news broke of Weatherspoon being relieved of her duties, Reese took to X to express how “heartbroken” she was that her coach will no longer be in the building. CLICK HERE FOR MORE SPORTS COVERAGE ON FOXNEWS.COM”I’m literally lost for words knowing what this woman meant to me in such a pivotal point in my life,’ Weatherspoon said. “She was the only person that believed in me. You were an unsung hero in my life.”Reese continued by discussing the deep relationship she developed with Weatherspoon despite only working with her for a season. “We built a relationship in a short amount of time that will last forever. I’ll never question God why he brings people in my life and takes them away from me in the capacity that I need them but i’ve always believed everyone is in your life for a reason and a season,” Reese said. “You were the best reason & season. I love you Tspoon.”While Reese quickly entered stardom in the WNBA with the Sky, averaging 13.6 points and 13.1 total rebounds per game, the Sky went 13-27 and failed to make the playoffs for the first time in five years. The Chicago Sun-Times reported Weatherspoon’s dismissal late Thursday night.So, despite winning a WNBA title in 2021, the Sky will now be searching for its fourth head coach since then. Weatherspoon was someone Sky players were publicly praising during the season, including Reese. But, according to the Chicago Sun Times, there was “disconnect” during exit interviews, and the team decided to go in a different direction. Weatherspoon starred in the WNBA herself from 1997-2004, playing all but one of her eight seasons with the New York Liberty. Stockton Rush, the OceanGate co-founder and CEO behind the ill-fated Titan submersible, claimed the carbon fiber hull of the deep-diving vessel was developed with the help of NASA and aerospace manufacturers.But an official with NASA said it had little involvement in the process.Also chiming in was a Boeing official, who said recommendations made by the aerospace manufacturer were ignored.Justin Jackson, a materials engineer for NASA, said the agency intended to play a role in building and testing the carbon fiber hull, but the COVID-19 pandemic prevented it from fulfilling that role.OCEANGATE CEO KNEW TITAN SUBMERSIBLE VENTURE WOULD END IN DISASTER, FRIEND TESTIFIESInstead, NASA consulted with OceanGate on a one-third scale mock-up of Titan, not the actual submersible that imploded with five people, including Rush, on board while descending to the Titanic wreckage June 18, 2023.Jackson spoke to the Coast Guard Marine Board of Investigation (MBI) in a hearing Thursday about the relationship between NASA and OceanGate, saying NASA balked at allowing its name being used by Rush’s company.EERIE VIDEO SHOWS TITAN SUBMERSIBLE TAIL CONE ON OCEAN FLOOR”The language they were using was getting too close to us endorsing, so our folks had some heartburn,” Jackson told the MBI during a hearing. One of the comments she liked said “TRUMP-VANCE 2024.” Swift, on the other hand, endorsed Harris after a debate between the presidential candidates Sept. 10. After the endorsement, Trump made an appearance on “Fox & Friends” and said he liked “Mrs. Mahomes much better” than Swift. Trump has gone as far as posting “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!” on Truth Social. Swift and Brittany Mahomes developed their highly-publicized friendship during last year’s NFL season when Kelce and Swift started dating. Swift appeared at multiple Chiefs games to cheer Kelce on and often sat in the same suite as Mahomes, who was cheering on her husband. That hasn’t been the case so far this year. In the two Chiefs’ games Swift has attended — Week 1 against the Baltimore Ravens and Week 2 against the Cincinnati Bengals, both at Arrowhead Stadium – Swift has not sat in the same suite as Mahomes. The two women hugged during a trip to the U.S. Open Final in New York City a few days after the Ravens game as they sat in a suite with Kelce and Patrick Mahomes.
