GREG GUTFELD: Kamala Harris’ town hall had to be orchestrated

GREG GUTFELD: Kamala Harris' town hall had to be orchestrated

So last night, Kamala held a town hall, and it had all the spontaneity of synchronized swimming. I wonder, would the audience be able to ask questions? WOMAN: Are we going to be able to ask a question?MARIA SHRIVER: You’re not, unfortunately, we have some predetermined questions, and I hopefully — I’ll be able to ask some of the questions that might be in your head. I hope so.TRUMP LAMBASTS LIZ CHENEY AS ‘CRAZED WARHAWK’ AS SHE CAMPAIGNS FOR KAMALA HARRISYeah. Sorry, toots. Sorry, toots, you’re just a prop. Come on. We didn’t even give you a primary and you think we’re going to let you ask unscripted questions? Hell, Kamala can’t even answer scripted questions if we give her a week in advance. So right off the bat, we got the lay of the land. Another manicured platform for Kamala to blurt out her now-legendary word salads. I mean, this broad ought to come to every event with a side of ranch and a bag of croutons. Still, these things cannot be overlooked.VICE PRESIDENT KAMALA HARRIS: These things cannot be overlooked. And I have said many times publicly, and I’ll say it again — in many, many ways, Donald Trump is an unserious man.Yeah, an unserious man. How rich coming from the candidate who is half-Indian, half-hyena. But it’s Trump who’s the unserious person? You know, the guy that built half the NYC skyline, has already been president, quite successfully, I might add. A guy who raised a beautiful, successful family that anybody would be proud of. A man who has literally taken a bullet for a job he didn’t even need.A man who our adversaries admit they respect and even fear. Yet he’s the unserious one? You dizzy, dumba**. And look at Liz Cheney sitting there. She looks thrilled. It’s like she’s thinking, “I quit my political party and all I got was this lousy wino.” But look, I watched the town hall for only one reason: hoping to hear one more time about the nature of a democracy, where I think there’s a duality.HARRIS: The nature of a democracy is such that I think there’s a duality. On the one hand, there’s an incredible strength when our democracy is intact and incredible strength in what it does to protect the freedoms and rights of its people. There’s great strength in that. And it is very fragile. It is only as strong as our willingness to fight for it.I never get tired of hearing that. And she never gets tired of saying it.HARRIS WON’T SUPPORT EXPANDING FOSSIL FUEL DRILLING, CAMPAIGN SAYSHARRIS: You know, I think that there’s a duality to the nature of democracy. When it’s intact, it’s so strong — so strong in its nature, and it’s very fragile. | There’s a duality to the nature of democracy. On the one hand, incredible strength when it is intact, incredibly strong and incredibly fragile. | The nature of democracy, there’s a duality to it. On the one hand, it’s very strong. When a democracy is intact, it is also very fragile.Look, Kamala, if you’re going to recycle old crap, at least dress it up a bit. Tyrus’ idea as always — bongos.KAMALA HARRIS SPEAKING WITH BONGOS PLAYING IN THE BACKGROUNDHARRIS: The nature of a democracy is such that I think there’s a duality. On the one hand, there’s an incredible strength when our democracy is intact and incredible strength in what it does to protect the freedoms and rights of its people. There’s great strength in that. And it is very fragile. It is only as strong as our willingness to fight for it.Yeah. Now, to most people, she sounds stupid. But is she really? Jim Geraghty at National Review suggests maybe she isn’t. He says “the caricature of Kamala Harris as a bumbling dunce makes it easy to underestimate her.” It’s kind of like how you root for Jesse Watters, despite his glaring incompetence. I mean, look at that. Jim also claims that her skill is really getting Democrats “emotionally invested in her.” It certainly worked with Willie Brown. But that’s more than a joke. It’s a fact — that getting Dems emotionally invested in her means she gets others to do the work she won’t do, whether it’s Willie Brown or willing Brown voters. See what I did there? I know. But I get what Jim’s saying. Don’t just say, “Wow, she’s just a dummy.”Because even if you’re right, no one’s going to hear it. People do the same thing with Trump. They overlook his actual deeds and focus on his words. Take the latest: Trump calling Democrat leaders the “enemy from within.”CNN’S JIM ACOSTA: Congressman, do you consider Adam Schiff and Nancy Pelosi to be the enemy from within?MSNBC’S JOY REID: Trump doubled down on his Hitler talking points about the “enemy from within.”CNN’S JAKE TAPPER: Donald Trump repeatedly referred to prominent Democrats and others on the left in the United States, American citizens, as “the enemy from within.”MSNBC’S ALI VELSHI: Donald Trump has been given opportunity after opportunity to either downplay or clarify his comments about what he called the “enemy from within.”MSNBC’S JOE SCARBOROUGH: A major party candidate calling his political opponents “the enemy within.”All that douchebag outrage, even though Democrats not only said the same thing about enemies within, but they actually acted on it. Remember when these a-holes claimed there was extremism within our military? It was big news until the threat was debunked and the story went away. Or what about the scourge of White privilege and systemic racism that labeled the majority of people, again, within the country, as oppressors and in need of serious reeducation; that gave us a divided country, DEI and a s*** ton of terrible Disney movies. And don’t ever forget what they did to anyone during the pandemic who dared to question their BS policies and their lies.So save your outrage. Trump calling Pelosi and Schiff the “enemy within” is peanuts compared to calling tens of millions of Americans the enemy from within. Hell, you even jailed a bunch of them while letting actual enemies from within: murders, arsonists and rapists, go free, which created a new demand on the American public. We now must be diligent all the time: when we’re on the streets, on public transportation, about what our kids are being taught in school, who’s in our restrooms, who’s coming into the country. It’s a lot of pressure on us, and we’re ready to blow. So that’s why the town hall had to be orchestrated. You can’t have ordinary people asking a phony candidate questions about the last four years. It had to be stage-managed just like it was the last four years, because if you knew the truth, then you’d see the enemy within in all its glory, and you’d toss it out on its lying a**.

Travis Kelce mentions Super Bowl rematch hopes to George Kittle after Chiefs defeat 49ers: ‘Let’s do it again’

Travis Kelce mentions Super Bowl rematch hopes to George Kittle after Chiefs defeat 49ers: 'Let's do it again'

At the conclusion of each of the past two postseasons, the Kansas City Chiefs were the last team standing.Although star quarterback Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs’ offense has not looked quite like the same high-flying team as they have in the past, Kansas City has managed to win all six of the games they’ve played in this season. The Chiefs improved to 6-0 after defeating the San Francisco 49ers this past Sunday. The Chiefs and Niners met in the Super Bowl in Las Vegas earlier this year, and Kansas City tight end Travis Kelce appears to be interested in a rematch.CLICK HERE FOR MORE SPORTS COVERAGE ON FOXNEWS.COMShortly after the latest clash between the Chiefs and Niners in Santa Clara, NFL Films released footage of Kelce’s exchange with San Francisco tight end George Kittle.”Let’s do it again in February, bro,” Kelce said.Kittle was open to a potential rematch in New Orleans in Feb. 2025 for Super Bowl LIX.”Yeah, I know why not,” the five-time Pro Bowler responded.Kittle then complimented Kelce’s choice of cleats saying, “I like the (Jordans).”TOM BRADY LFG PLAYER OF THE GAME JOE THUNEY HELPS CHIEFS BULLY 49ERS UP FRONTMahomes overcame two interceptions to deliver a few big plays with his feet to help the Chiefs knock off the 49ers 28-18 in the regular season version of the Super Bowl rematch.Mahomes acknowledged that having the defense and running game carry the team was different from what many have become accustomed to.”I just don’t think it’s normal for what you’ve seen from us because there’s not a lot of passing touchdowns,” Mahomes said after going back-to-back games without a touchdown pass for just the second time in his career.Mahomes also took accountability for his noticeable uptick in turnovers this season. The three-time Super Bowl MVP has thrown six touchdowns against eight interceptions.”There’s been a lot of turnovers, especially by me. I think it’s just showing the versatility of our team. It’s not just about me, it’s not just about the stats and the light show and stuff like that. It’s about playing team football and I believe if we continue to work, we’ll get better offensively throwing the ball down the field. But until then, it’s nice to know that we have a great running game, we’ve got a great defense and we’re able to execute whenever the time comes to win football games.”The Associated Press contributed to this report.Follow Fox News Digital’s sports coverage on X, and subscribe to the Fox News Sports Huddle newsletter.

Mexican cartels using bracelets as proof of payment for migrants to cross into US, Texas DPS says

Mexican cartels using bracelets as proof of payment for migrants to cross into US, Texas DPS says

Mexican drug cartels have seemingly adopted a tactic of placing colored wristbands on migrants as they cross illegally into the United States through Texas, signifying a more coordinated effort to control who comes across the border, authorities said Tuesday. In the border city of Eagle Pass, Texas, blue wristbands with names were found discarded on the ground amid piles of trash and clothing. The wristbands are similar to bracelets placed on migrants who cross illegally into Texas through the Rio Grande Valley in south Texas, Lt. Chris Olivarez of the Texas Department of Public Safety told Fox News Digital. “We’ve always seen that in those areas. We’ve never seen that in Eagle Pass,” he said. “That tells us it’s more controlled, more coordinated by the cartels.”ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT BITES BORDER PATROL AGENT IN THE FACE AMID ‘SIGNIFICANT RISE’ OF ATTACKS ON CBPCartels often use bracelets to signify proof of payment to smugglers, said Olivarez. “If they have a blue one, they can only cross in this area. If they have a red one, they can only cross in that area,” he said. Much of the border area in Mexico across from the Rio Grande Valley and Eagle Pass is controlled by the Cartel del Noreste (CDN), the successor cartel to the Los Zetas, which was known for its brutal and violent methods.Cartels have always charged migrants to cross into the U.S. through their territory. Those who try to avoid the steep smuggling fees and cross on their own do so at their own peril, Olivarez said. CAUGHT ON CAMERA: FENCE-CUTTING MIGRANTS BUSTED BY FEDS Despite a decline in migrant encounters in Texas, authorities are still seeing an average of 2,000 illegal immigrants per day on the southwest border, Olivarez said, including 300 per day in Eagle Pass. He noted that the number of special interest migrants from various countries has increased, as well as unaccompanied children. Some migrants have traveled from as far away as Iran, Pakistan, Turkey and Africa. Special interest migrants are those who potentially pose a national security risk to the U.S. or its interests based on their travel patterns, according to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The designation doesn’t mean the migrants are “terrorists,” but that their travel and behavior indicates a possible link to nefarious activity, including terrorism, that requires further screening and investigation, DHS says on its website.

Volleyball match with transgender player gets huge last-minute location change amid security controversies

Volleyball match with transgender player gets huge last-minute location change amid security controversies

An upcoming controversial NCAA women’s volleyball match will move its location over 200 miles from Reno, Nevada to the Bay Area in California. San Jose State’s upcoming game against the University of Nevada has been at the center of a national debate on transgender inclusion in women’s sports. And now, a match that was previously going to be played on Nevada’s home campus will be played at San Jose’s Yosh Uchida Hall. “The Mountain West Conference women’s volleyball match between Nevada and San José State University scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 26, has been moved from Reno, Nevada, to San José, California. The decision to move the location of the match has been made in the best interest of both programs and the well-being of the student-athletes, coaches, athletic staff and spectators. The decision has been made with the approval of the Mountain West Conference,” read a joint statement that was obtained by Fox News Digital from both San Jose State and Nevada’s spokespeople. There is no guarantee that this match will even be played. CLICK HERE FOR MORE SPORTS COVERAGE ON FOXNEWS.COMNevada players have expressed their desire not to play the match, both privately to their athletic director and publicly to the press. San Jose State has a player that has been identified as a transgender, and another player engaged in a lawsuit against the NCAA over never being informed that her teammate was a biological male. But the program has not forfeited the match officially, citing state law. Four other opposing programs forfeited their matches against the Spartans amid the ongoing controversy. Southern Utah, Boise State, Wyoming and Utah State all officially forfeited their scheduled games against San Jose State. Meanwhile, security concerns and threats against San Jose State players have made traveling for matches a high-risk endeavor for the lady Spartans. San Jose State previously confirmed to Fox News Digital that police protection was assigned to the team, shortly after getting the first news of an opponent forfeiting, when Southern Utah announced it would not play its match against the Spartans in September.San Jose State player Brooke Slusser has joined a lawsuit headed by OutKick host and former collegiate swimmer Riley Gaines against the NCAA due to its policies on gender identity. Slusser joined this lawsuit because she claims that she has had to share a court, locker room and even a room on overnight trips with her teammate Blaire Fleming without having ever been told that Fleming was a biological male. Slusser previously told Fox News Digital in an exclusive interview that this has resulted in threats against her.”One of my teammates got a DM, basically saying that she, and then my team, needed to keep my distance from me on gameday against Colorado State, because it wasn’t going to be a good situation for me to be in and that my team needed to keep their distance,” Slusser told Fox News Digital in an exclusive interview. “They needed to keep their distance from me during the game, because something was going to happen to me.”This was the first physical threat when we could easily see that they wanted to physically harm one of us.”INSIDE SAN JOSE STATE’S POLICE BATTLE TO PROTECT WOMEN’S ATHLETES THREATENED BY A TRANSGENDER CULTURE WARThis resulted in a heavy police presence during the Spartan’s game at Colorado State on Oct. 3, as San Jose State has confirmed to Fox News Digital it has had to coordinate police protection for its players with other universities during away games. During a game against Air Force Academy this past weekend, security at Cadet East Gym at the Air Force campus in Colorado was so alert, that it even resulted in controversial footage of an alleged interaction between a fan and a security guard. A fan who attended the game alleged that the Air Force security made anyone who wore shirts in protest against transgender inclusion in women’s sports cover the messaging if they wanted to get inside to watch the match. Other witnesses have told Fox News Digital that they saw similar instances happen. “Air Force Athletics takes necessary measures to provide a safe environment at all home athletic events for players, coaches, staff and fans,” an Air Force spokesperson told Fox News Digital. San Jose State was scheduled to travel all the way to Reno later this week to play the Wolf Pack, with no guarantee that any Nevada players would take the court. Nevada has told Fox News Digital that its players will not be disciplined for refusing to compete in the upcoming match. But Nevada has said it can’t forfeit their upcoming match because of state law, the program previously told Fox News Digital. “The university made the decision not to declare a forfeiture and move forward with hosting the match as scheduled based on several factors. As a public university, the university is legally prohibited by Section 24 of the Nevada Constitution and other laws and regulations to declare a forfeit for reasons related to gender identity or expression,” a Nevada spokesperson said. The Nevada state constitution was revised in 2022 when Nevada voted to adopt the Equal Rights Amendment, which added gender identity to the list of protections. Nevada state Sen. Pat Spearman, a Democrat from North Las Vegas who co-sponsored the bill to get it on the ballot, said the law has helped transgender people maintain their identity. So, forfeiting a game against San Jose State would have violated Nevada’s state law. The other four programs that have already officially forfeited their matches over transgender player are based in states where there are no such laws. In fact, Idaho, where Boise State is based, actually has a state law to prevent transgender inclusion in women’s sports.Follow Fox News Digital’s sports coverage on X, and subscribe to the Fox News Sports Huddle newsletter.
